At this time the search will search on all aspect allowed under the submission policy except Hot Links and Hot Link information.

Search carries out "AND" searches on single words of phrases entered.

For example if you enter a search on telecom physics the search will find links retaliating to telecom AND physics.

Single word searches will return more results than phrases.

Case: Upper case or Lower case will not make any difference to searching.

Icons, Title, Description, Specialise and the URL website address will be searched on.

Keyword will not be displayed but will be searched on.

Searching on Icons.  For example if a site has the following icons:-

Search

Chemical

Society

Contact

Then if a user searches on either "engineering", "medical" or "chemical" the  details will be displayed for sites that relate to these.

Notice that above displays the 'phone icon this indicates that the Display Contact Details has been selected as Yes.

Point your mouse at the 'phone icon above to view how such Contact Detail will be displayed.

Even if you select No to prevent your Contact Details being displayed the words in your contact details will still be searched on but not actually displayed because no 'phone icon will be displayed in this case.

For example a search on the Keyword physics will find all links which have an icon indication that their website is related to physics.  This search will also find the Keyword physics in other filed data.

Another example searching on the Keyword earth science will find this Keyword in  icons as well as find the earth science Keyword in other filed data.

The search will find parts of URL addresses so if your address has for example "bargain" in it as http://www.comparebargains.com has then again there will be no need to repeat this as a word anywhere else, unless you with to emphasis this word.

This can be useful if you wish to find related sites.  For example searching on .gov will list all sites with this in the, URL, website address.

Another example searching on .co.uk will list all sites, mainly in the United Kingdom, with this in the, URL, website address.

Contact Details information will also be searched on  but will only be displayed in a pop-up box if you select to display your details

Phone and Fax Numbers
Phone should include Country & Area Code and Phone number e.g. +44 (0)1111 11111
Fax should include Country & Area Code and Phone number if you have one
Email
